Beyonce reveals pregnancy at MTV Music Video Awards


The R&B star, 29, used her hands to frame her baby bump under a loose-fitting dress as she arrived at the MTV Music Video Awards in Los Angeles.Beyonce did not talk to media but her publicist later confirmed the pregnancy, Associated Press reported.It will be the first child for Beyonce and her husband rapper Jay-Z, who married in 2008.

Former NBA Player Charged With Murder


ATLANTA -- Police said late Friday that former NBA player Javaris Crittenton, who was once suspended by the league over guns in the locker room, has been charged with murder after a woman was shot on an Atlanta street.

Although megastar rappers Lil Wayne and Jay-Z share the same surname, there have been rumblings over the years that the Carters have been in direct competition with each other. One of the latest flare-ups in the alleged feud happened with Watch The Throne’s first leak “H.A.M.” in where Jay-Z’s line “Really you got baby money” got the attention of both Wayne and YMCMB boss Birdman who responded to the verse via Twitter. Although Wayne initially brushed off the assumed jab, it appears that on a new song from Tha Carter IV may be reigniting a clash between the two rap titans.

Motown Hitmaker Nick Ashford Dies



Nick Ashford wrote the songs that made a whole lot of the world sing.
The Motown hitmaker, who along with wife Valerie Simpson was responsible for tunes like "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "I'm Every Woman," died Monday at a New York City hospital after a bout with throat cancer. He was 70.
